Abstract: This guide is intended to promote effective recovery, particularly for incidents that are large-scale or catastrophic. It provides guidance that enables effective recovery support to disaster-impacted states, tribes and local jurisdictions. It also describes the concepts and principles that promote effective federal recovery assistance for disasters of all kinds and sources. Resources and best practices for recovering from a disaster are included.
