Abstract: This presentation provides a research-driven look at what colleges and universities should be focusing on when trying to eradicate hazing from their communities. Kim Novak, the presenter, is CEO of NovakTalks and an independent consultant for campus safety, hazing prevention, student risk management, and student organization development. Using data from several research sources and theory from the recent literature on hazing, Kim walks participants through a process of understanding what the data is really telling us about hazing behaviors.
