Abstract: With more than 23,000 resources in its collection, the NCEF website is the largest source of school facilities information in the world. Its purpose is to offer timely and comprehensive information for all stakeholders involved in designing, building, and maintaining safe, healthy, high-performing schools. Some of the resources NCEF provides include subject-specific resource lists that provide access to more than 150 school facilities topics; NCEF news and updates that summarize and provide links to news stories about educational facilities nationwide; links to facilities-related professional organizations, academic research centers, agencies (federal, state, and local), and media sources; and a free safe schools checklist that combines the nation's best school facility assessment measures into one online source for assessing the safety and security of school buildings and grounds.
