Abstract: In this webinar, Clery Center Executive Director Alison Kiss focuses on five key Clery Act challenges. Based on her years of experience working with colleges and universities throughout the country, Alison addresses specific areas such as timely warning policies and procedures; coordination between departments; and current findings through Department of Education (ED) Clery Act Compliance Team programs reviews and voluntary resolution agreements through ED's Office for Civil Rights. This presentation is appropriate for participants with all levels of Clery Act knowledge. Participants will learn ways to engage the campus community, when necessary, and how to identify solutions for challenges discussed.
