Abstract: These standards were developed in response to Executive Order 13688 Federal Support for Local Law Enforcement Equipment Acquisition, released by President Barack Obama on January 16, 2015. The standards follow the guidelines developed by the Law Enforcement Working Group in their Recommendations Pursuit to Executive Order 13688 Federal Support for Local Law Enforcement Acquisition.
